More than ever, France’s energy and environmental performance appears to be an essential pillar for developing sustainable and competitive industry. Beyond reducing consumption, the industrial ecological transition requires flexibility, intelligent synergies and even more developed digitalisation. A model of sustainable development, the decarbonisation of industrial uses has already begun thanks to economic flagships, exceptional expertise and considerable support from the State.
An electrolysis sector is emerging in France, notably with the world’s largest project for the industrial production of green hydrogen. At the forefront of renewable energies thanks to geothermal innovation, France is creating an industry that is competitive and rich in energy and ecological promises. French industry also has international support through unique know-how in nuclear energy with the project for the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier of the future.
