Both firms are seeking to strengthen their position on the BEMS market.

May 2021. Fouded 20 years ago, Adeunis, a medium-sized company, is specialized in smart buildings and cities. For the next three years, it will be supplying smart sensors to Birdz, a subsidiary of Veolia, which is designing and leveraging IoT solutions in the environmental-services sector. 95% of the 3.5 million smart objects that it operates are currently connected to the world of water. The company would like to get more involved with the building energy management systems (BEMS) market.

Monitoring energy, gas and water use; temperature, and interior-air quality, managing windows and doors, and CMV (continuous mandatory ventilation) are all among the possible solutions offered by the sensors and software provided by the two firms, who are seeking to strengthen their position on the BEMS market.
