With nearly 300 sites including 35 R&D centres and 122,000 employees in 37 countries, Faurecia is a world leader in the automotive industry in its four areas of activity:

Faurecia has focused its technological strategy on offering solutions for the Cockpit of the Future and Sustainable Mobility.
In 2018, the Group generated €17.5 billion in revenue.

Labelled Project

The Caligny site was built in 2008.
It is the result of a clustering of 3 Faurecia plants. Against the backdrop of the 2008 economic crisis, Caligny, supported by the Group, managed to turn things around and regain its profitability. In order to anchor its production in the Normandy countryside, the site initiated the “Caligny inside” project. This project is deployed along 3 lines:

  • employees
  • the network
  • the digital transformation.

This project has been labelled in 2017.

Achievements

Countering isolation through the creation of a regional network, building competitiveness through continuous improvement and digital.

The Vitrine Industrie du Futur label rewards the efforts of all the employees. This award emphasises our site’s innovative positioning and future-facing attitude, and we are very proud to be one of the most modern industrial sites in France.
