ARMOR

Context

ARMOR is a French industrial group and world leader in the production of thermal transfer ribbons.
Since 2010, the Group has also launched several new activities, building from its historical expertise in formulation and coating: organic photovoltaic films, current collectors for innovative batteries and 3D filaments.

Labelled Project

ARMOR has been labelled for its “Continuous Automation and Digital Transformation Programme for Industrial Facilities”.
This project has enabled it to strengthen its position as world leader through growth 2.5 times faster than that of the market, on a constant surface.
ARMOR thus operates the only plant in the sector that has fully robotised the cutting process of its inked polyester films. AGVs are deployed in the workshops to cope with the increasing number of flows and reduce the drudgery of certain tasks.

This project has been labelled in 2019.
