The successful digitisation of a company’s operations requires the involvement of all players and targets of the change. Whether developers, users, managers, etc., they need to understand each other’s constraints, prepare for and co-construct a solution that will enable everyone to perform.
LA NORMANDISE
Context
La Normandise is a family-owned intermediate-sized enterprise located in Vire, Normandy.
It specialises in the manufacture and marketing of pet food, intent on satisfying the needs of our furry cat and dog friends as well as meeting the requirements of their owners, thanks to its expertise in animal health and nutrition.
Recognised for its veterinary expertise, La Normandise distributes its products worldwide, drawing in particular on its strategic location near the port of Le Havre.
Labelled Project
Several points in La Normandise’s approach caught the jury’s attention during the labelling process, including the relationship between the company’s strategic commercial focuses (ambitions on the Chinese market) and the implementation of its digitisation projects.
The implementation of a change management methodology aimed at reducing to the bare minimum the “user” constraints that might arise from the implementation of digital tools, and the networking of employment and training players to build a training tool to respond to a territorial issue in a profession under pressure: Maintenance Technician.
This project has been labelled in 2019.
Achievements
Developing performance through the urbanisation of information systems, limiting digitisation constraints by using a change methodology to build solutions, creating a collective training tool by Forecast-Based Management of Jobs and Territorial Skills.
