WILO

Context

Wilo France, a subsidiary of the German Wilo SE Group, designs and manufactures high energy efficiency pumps and pump systems. These products are put to use in the fields of construction, the water cycle and industry.
Its Laval site (700 people) comprises 3 product development centres and the associated production units, as well as a logistics centre for the storage and distribution of components and finished products in France and in the Group’s 70 subsidiaries.

Labelled Project

In a context of climate change, which has imposed binding energy regulations and heightened international competitiveness, Wilo France decided to put health and safety at the heart of its industrial strategy. With a product offer completely overhauled in 10 years and industrial facilities built on the concepts of health at work and operational performance, the Laval site is now a centrepiece a Wilo Group: a standard-setter in terms of employee commitment and quality of life at work, as well as in its ability to adapt to the market.

This project has been labelled in 2020.

Achievements

Comprehensive approach encompassing health and performance, from product/process design (virtual reality, ergomotricity) to operations (automation, inventory reduction, flow optimisation) enabled by digital tools, employee training and engagement.

Innovating in our products and processes, working together to improve working conditions with a constant focus on competitiveness allows the Laval plant to be recognised as a showcase for Wilo Group.
